why dont you rename your torso skin to "kyle_torso.tga"? that would be pretty simple.

 

or

 

Just look for the torso texture and replace with your own:

hips_torso,models/players/kyle/kyle_torso.tga

 

becomes...

hips_torso,models/players/kyle/"your_torso".tga
