Lord JayVizIon Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 if it swgb 2 then a late 2003/early to mid 2004 release would be cool for swgb 2. i like how swgb 1 came out 6 mos or so before the movie and before the movie's release 2 new civs were added in the xpac. probably the same thing would happen with swgb 2 and then adding new civs during the final prequel in may 2005

What is worse is I haven't seen anything coming out that is Star Wars for late summer, fall, and winter 2003-around Christmas? The only thing I heard was Galaxies coming out in spring of 2003 for PC and Kinghts of old Republic coming out early summer of 2003 for PC? I have seen no new information on any Star Wars PC or Mac video game. That is indeed disturbing. I am big PC video game fan and I haven't seen nothing on new PC games.

I wish that some of their new games like Bounty Hunter and the Clone Wars were on PC but they aren't. If the trend continues I may have to buy an XBox. I'm pretty sure SWGB2 will not be out 2003. Probably late 2004 at the earliest, or maybe even to coincide with Episode 3 in 2005.
CorranSec Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 It's most likely that GB2 (if there is one) will be released before or with Episode III. It makes sense, and will boost sales quite a bit. LA does seem to be focussing on console games recently. I'm quite annoyed that the Gamecube is snapping up most of the titles, with the PS2 also getting Bounty Hunter and a few others, while my Xbox and I have to wait for KotoR, which I'll probably get on PC anyway... although I will have to wait 6 months longer.

No other website has such close contact with LA and this can include most of the gaming news websites. GB.com were first to reveal units and new screens for Clone Campaigns and have had 2 exclusive Q&A's with Garry Gaber - who revealed exclusively on here about the new SWGB project he is working on. Though u and me don't usaully get along, I would highly advise u to try some non-SW games. Like Half-Life. There ain't gonna be much Star wars for a loong time.
