rgoer
What's shakin, fellas? Have you guys seen all the screenshots from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic that have been released? A lot of them show off these "blown out" over-exposed-looking highlights around lightsources. Here, I'll post one to show you: Is it possible to recreate this effect in JK2? I've tried using high-intensity lights with small radii, but nothing is working. Maybe somebody can better explain the relationship between the "light" tag and the "scale" tag to me? MccMadCouncil
Well lights wont work for that you need to create a shader for that
Marzgog
I'm no expert, but i think the best way to get that funky lighting effect would be to change the shaderscript, but a bit more light intensity there... ...Then arises the question about having a good shadertexture to use on that... wedge2211
Glowing shaders have two images, the "background" emitter and the "glow" effect (usually named along those lines: light1 and light1_glow). You could just make one of those that has a _glow image that is bigger than the background.
