Mex
Hi, there is something wrong with multiplayer, when I start it up, it goes wierd and won't load properly, and the fps goes down to 1, I can't even quit when I choose the menu because it slows down so much! Someone help!
Hekx
Low memory? What do you have your com_hunkmegs set to? (Type com_hunkmegs in the console to see what the current value is) Make sure you have EAX disabled under Sound, since that can cause problems. Have you recently installed any mods, PK3s or other software that maybe conflicted with JKII?
Mex
I have no mods or anything yet, I am going to download the patch to see if that will help.
Purple_Tentacle
try deleting your jk2mpconfig.cfg file (its in your base directory), then try it. i had this error on my g/f's comp. and after deleting the jk2mpconfig.cfg file it gave me a pop-up box if i said 'try anyway' it was ok, if i said 'cancel' it'd be SLOW as, just like you described. by the way, i have to do that every time i wanna play MP on her comp. Hekx
As Purple_Tentacle said, deleting the jk2mp.cfg maybe a good idea incase there's some wrong settings in there that maybe effecting the game. I suggest copying the file, which is located in your base and modification folders, and then seeing if the problem's fixed. The settings will revert back to default, and you'll have to redo controls and game settings again though..
