"The Lucas Learning division of LucasArts has ceased production on the PC version of the Star Wars based Mario Kart style racer.

Lucas Learning has decided to shift its focus from consumer entertainment products in favor of direct-to-school educational products."

In other words, owning this game will cost you in the region of $400.

Great, so now the ONLY way to play this game (Super Bombad Racing) is on the PS2. Well FORGET THAT. ; p

I already spent my "console money" on a dreamcast, and they cancelled the DC version, I was waiting for the PC version to come out because I was mildly interested in a quality version of the game, so I guess LL lost a customer there, oh well...

Update:

The <a href="http://www.lucaslearning.com/jsv/products/bombad.html">LL website</a> still reads:

  Quote
PC/Mac version coming in August 2001.

Originally it said "PC version coming Summer 2001." If I remember correctly, that is.

Where did you get your info?

Well, we all know how fast LucasArts are to announce little things like cancelations (was that a cough, Obi-Wan?). I got my info from Games Domain, here's a link: http://www.gamesdomain.co.uk/news/5119.html

And DEFINITELY pick up PSO, we need a new player for a month while Simpy tours America ;)

wouldn't worry much Kurg:

the game was terrible PS2 or any other system.

I'm not. My point was that if it isn't coming to a system I already have access to: PC, DC, PSX, then I probably won't be playing it at all.
