west Posted February 5, 2003 Share Posted February 5, 2003 I HAVE NOTICED THAT PEOPLE ARE RESPAWNING INSTEAD OF DYING.I ASKED 1 GUY AND HE SAID HE RESPAWNS FASTER WHEN HE KILLS HIMSELF THAN FALLING TO HIS DEATH. Sam Fisher Posted February 5, 2003 Share Posted February 5, 2003 you can bind a key to the kill command. ie: enter this into the console: bind x kill where x is the key you bound it to. when you start falling, just press it and you'll die instantly. Prime Posted February 6, 2003 Share Posted February 6, 2003 However, keep in mind that this tactic can be viewed as rude and "unsportsmanlike". If an opponent is about to kill you or has pushed you off a ledge or something, killing yourself will deprive them of getting a point for the kill. Instead, your kill total will decrease by one.
