Hi there, can any of you pro's out there help me out with the following problem i'm having. I'm not able to see my custom textures in my compiled map. They always show up as a black and white matrix. I did save them as an 24bit .jpg file . also went to photo shop and resize them to [128*64]In gtk,1.2.11,, i see them perfectly, untill i compile the map end....gone they are. i did the /sv_pure 0,,and devmap my map .. in the game. , In my base folder i added an extra textures dir, with all my stuff in it. This should be all correct, cause i can see, and apply them in gtk.....so, what am i missing here???? THNX so much in advance guys!

Haven't had this occur, but I would make certain that your custom textures exist only in the textures/mymap folder.

 

See that you don't have copies in textures, base, gamedata, etc.

Try putting them in a .pk3 file. Call the pk3 whatever your map's name is, and put them in the textures directory. You don't need to put the .bsp file in the pk3 for now.
