Ok first of all there is a slight problem. When you model a player model for JK2, it needs to be first exported to .xsi format so that it can then be compiled into a glm. The XSI import plugin only works for 3ds max and not for gmax (gmax doesn't allow any custom plugins unfortunately) so it is not possible to export player models with gmax. However, you can build a model in gmax, take it into 3ds max and then weight it to the skeleton and import it.
