Livingdeadjedi
Ok this is very odd. Ive made a sky but it emits NO LIGHT ?? Basically ive taken the bespin sky textures and made them blue then saved them as Bespinsky_up , bespinsky_dn etc this is the shader for it textures/skies/bespinblue_light { qer_editorimage textures/skies/bespinblue.tga q3map_surfacelight 10 sun 1 1 1 200 0 70 surfaceparm sky surfaceparm noimpact surfaceparm nomarks notc q3map_nolightmap skyParms textures/skies/bespinsky 512 - } I basically copied the artus_light shader then resaved it as the new name. Now i tried the artus light shader and in the level the lights work. But on copying this and doing a new shader and textures. I go into game, the sky shows up perfectly but the light is not there ????? is jk2 radiant going wrong. or is shader ed 2 a pile of rubbish ? Help me Oh wise ones
Wudan
In the shaders directory under base, make sure that your shader is in shaderlist.txt Are you using Q3map2? Skip the shader bs and make your sun by making a point light (ANYWHERE in your level) and add a _sun key to the light and a value of 1 Then, q3map2 uses that as the sun (you can have more than 1 sun, too), and uses the light values and color values to determine the color. It takes angles from what the light is pointed at.
