Sephiroth CR
I know how to make one-way elevators with func_plats, but I dont' know how to make elevators with switches. Could someone tell me how?
000nate
My guess would be just to make a switch, and point it to the elevator. You can look at my last post called concerning forcefields to see the part about making the switch, and than I would just point it right at the func_plat. And check off any options that have to do with switches or the use key or something.
wedge2211
http://wso.williams.edu/~jshoer/elevator.htm Read that, but make the following modification: Instead of placing the trigger_multiple brushes so that the player steps in them, put them in front of your buttons, and check the use_button and facing flags on the trigger_multiple. Sephiroth CR
Ok. I did that. But now The elevator wont go up, even though I put a switch at the bottom and targeted it at the func_plat. I only can get it to come up when I hit the switch at the top. Is there anything else that might work?
