000nate
Ok I'll tell you the situation I'm in. I wanted to reinstall my of jk2 because over the course of months mods and such must have lead to the deleting of one of my mp files (So I couldn't run mp) So I reinstalled the entire game. Now I have a BIG PROPLEM. Mp works fine but Sp is crap! It doesn't even have the caulk texture, or trigger or outdoors basicly any system triggers. So now my outdoors huge brush, is a solid can't find texture solid big square. And my caulk just doesn't work because of it turning into a notexture texture as well. I tried installing it twice and the same thing happend. I mthink the top of the cd got a little messed up so some o the film got scraped off (even though I can't find anything that would suggest that) and thus not being able to install certian files. It also didn't only mess up my map but messed up the ingame maps as well! My guess is that I have to get my hands on another copy of the game. Does anyone think that theres a way to fix this problem? Also radiant can't load those textures either. I hope the film isn't scratched and its just the bottom of the cd thats scratched but I can't be certain. Dragarius
This really sounds like an issue with pathnames. Verify that your paths match between your game install and the Radiant editor.
000nate
But that doesn't explain why normal sp isn't working. Its textures are missing and stuff.
Dragarius
Do you mean the standard SP game isn't working? Or do you mean your custom SP maps aren't working? If the maps that came on the CD are no longer working, check to see that you didn't remove the textures from the .pk3 files when extracting them. I am grasping here...perhaps an example of what you did and what results you got would help.
wedge2211
Um, there's no difference between the single and multi-player textures. Do you mean your textures won't load in Radiant, or the single-player game isn't functioning, or what?
Leslie Judge
Aha, good question. Caulk, and most of the other system shaders are in one of the mapextras.pk3s. But that comes with the editing tools and GtkRadiant I think, so in the case you deleted them you have to install the editing tools or GtkRadiant again.
