Altus_Thrawn Posted February 18, 2003 Share Posted February 18, 2003 My compiles have gone from useful to useless letters. I was working on a map, and I did ALOT of work at once. I compiled, and got the old version. this was with "map nameofmap" I tried doing "devmap nameofmap" and got "couldn't find nameofmap.bsp" I switched maps and then tried "devmap nameofmap" again got "couldn't find nameofmap.bsp" I loaded the pointfile-2 leaks, I fixed them and tried again. I got he above. Made all brushes stuctural-got the above. It turns out I have no BSP in my map folder. The compile always quits after the first "paragraph" instead of the third. This is what is in the text window in the bottom of radaint after i clicked compile: Writing the compile script to 'C:/Program Files/GtkRadiant/qe3bsp.bat' The build output will be saved in 'C:/Program Files/GtkRadiant/junk.txt' Running bsp command... -Chrono_MOT- Posted February 18, 2003 Share Posted February 18, 2003 Make sure none of the following show up: JPEG ERROR: Requested Feature Omitted at Compile time MAX_VERTICES_EXCEEDED Otherwise it will NOT compile correctly. Sample points: (4016.00 1280.00 1472.00) (4032.00 960.00 1472.00) (4032.00 640.00 1472.00) This means you will find a brush near the given coords that is touched by too many other brushes.
