War Master
I'm trying to make these mountains that will act as a wall kind of like in Kejim_Post. The problem I keep getting is that the mountains are always to small. In my height map I made the peaks as white as white gets and they still don't render high enough. I've tried scaling in Radiant but it doesn't seem to come out right. I tried dragging the vertices but GtkRadiant often locks up. I am new to this, so what am I doing wrong? War Master
Who's the expert on GenSurf here?
wedge2211
I haven't done anything (yet) with GenSurf, but I've looked at it...isn't there an option to set the height scaling in there? In other words, can't you set just how high white is and just how low black is?
sematriclen
wedge2211 is right i tought myself with gensurf it didnt take long there is a roughness button that detirmines how sharp the terrain is and there is an x and y part that changes how hight it is and stuff just muck around with it and ull get the hang of it
