Minstrel86
I am getting a foreign error message during my vis process. I clicked on FullVis (normal procedure) after saving my level, but then I hear a *ding* and then this message will pop up in the DOS window: "numpoints exceed MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING" i'm not sure it's an exact quote but it'll have to do. Then, at the end of all of the text (when the vis process is "complete") I see THIS message: "mapname.bsp could not be found" no message for seconds elapsed after that. If anyone could lend their assistance I would (of course) greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
starunner
This is what the QERadiant site has to say: "ERROR: WindingFromDrawSurf failed: MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING exceeded There are too many vertices repeating themselves along a single axis. It can also mean you have a "brush side polygon" somewhere with more than 64 corner points." You can find info on more common map errors here: http://quake3.qeradiant.com/errors.shtml Hope that helps in some way.
Minstrel86
I think that I know the brushes in which you speak of. Thank you very much, starunner. *bows*
