idunbite
Hi. I seem to have a problem installing JKII. What I actually did was uninstall, then I tried to reinstall... However, I get this error message when installing the file assets01 or something. It says something about redundancy or something. can anyone help me? Muggie
I have the same problem now too, I am running on a laptop tho: I made a post about it, with what the error says. It dies at 14%
Andy867
If uninstalling, make sure to completely delete the Lucasarts/Star Wars JKII Jedi Outcast folder and all its subfolders. That way it removes all files so that there isn't a redundancy of a file.. Also, check the CD for scratches and dust/fingerprints.

TrUnKs69
Im having the same problem. The last time i tried to install the game was like half a year a go.and it worked then. And i never damaged my disc not once. Then i tried to install it again it has that cyclic redundancy check thingy. Its some sorta Transfer Error with assets0.pk3 for me. [Edit: Ohh yeh Forgot to say.Even though we havent installed it we can still sorta play it i think.Just go to the disk.Right Click the D Drive then Click on open . Go to Gamedata Double Click on Gamedata again. Then just click on either jk2mp or sp and you can start playing again.[/EDIT] [Admin's Note: Use the Edit button next time, that way it reduces double-posting and keeps the forums clutter free if possible[/EDIT]
Hekx
Have you tried copying the file from the disk onto your hard-drive? If you can get it to work the way you said, you can create a shortcut to the file located on your D:\, so you can play it. Multiplayer "D:\GameData\GameData\jk2mp.exe" Singleplayer "D:\GameData\GameData\jk2sp.exe" Copy and paste the bold locations into a new shortcut.
