Bot Difficulty Setting

I discovered that if you type in "add" in the console, you can add bots, assigning them team, degree of difficulty etc. Can the bot difficulty be raise above 5 (jedi master) because they are way to easy as they are.

Yes, unfortunately, you cannot.

 

I'm not sure what you are really trying to do, but I have found that when I just want to mess around with duels for some fun, I do it singleplayer. You can load up any MP map in SP with the map <mapname> command. Then you can spawn reborn or whatever with the npc spawn <npc> command. If you set the difficulty level two Jedi Master, they are more challenging than bots.

 

Anyway, just a suggestion...

Of course we both know that MP bots and single player AI are very different... in terms of the gameplay "style" of the saber combat in the two modes of play.

If you want tougher bots, the only trick I know is to make them all Desanns and Lukes. They seem to have better saber fighting scripts.
