What is an "Unpure Server"

I have heard it in some of the forums and I would be thrilled if I could have a definition of what a pure and unpure server is.

Pure server: Files and configurations that can be accessed only if the server running has it.

 

EX: If the server you join has the han solo model and you have that model you can use that model. If you have that model and the server does not then you cannot use it.

 

Unpure allows people to use any non-recognized file on the server exclding I believe mods. So if you have the Solo model and the server does not you can still use it HOWEVER unless other people playing on that same server have the same model in their folders they will most likely see you as a reborn or Kyle.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong.

that sounds right BTP. Basically, a pure server forces a person to run anything and everything the server is running. but with an Unpure server, you just have to have the map that the server is running, while as you can use any skin/model you want. Some people just may not see it if they don't have it.
