BigTeddyPaul
It is because you have a bootlegged copy from a file sharing program. Have a nice day. BigTeddyPaul

Andy867
Well, there are a few solutions to multiple problem-causing issues either A) You do have a bootlegged or burned copy of the game, B) you have an incompatible NIC in which case you may need new drivers, C) You have the full retail version BUT you tried to use a NO-CD patch/crack to make it so you wouldn't need the cd to play, in which case the server didn't like the .exe file being used, D) You have a mod which is causing incompatibility issues with the game engine possibly. Solutions to: A) Get the Full Retail version off ebay for $20 or so, B) Download new drivers or in worst case scenarios, get a new NIC for $12-$25, or C) Just use the CD which is how the game was intended, or D) Try uninstalling and using Regcleaner to remove any residual key entries to Outcast, then re-install and update to the latest patch (1.04)
