Vetarra
I've been playing JK2 for a few months on my old computer, and it worked just fine, but today I attempted to play it on my new computer, and it installed without a hitch, but whenever I try to run it, it says Game CD not in drive. The CD is in the drive, and I'm at a loss about what to do. I wouldn't think that the issue is with the CD player since it plays everything except this, but the fact that the game CD will work with the other computer and not this one unless I'm installing it is pretty bizarre. Any thoughts?
Sam Fisher
Do you have more than one CD drive?
Vetarra
No I don't but the drive is a CD/RW, Neverwinter Nights used to have issues with those, but is it the same with JK?
Andy867
Well, I have a CD-R/W and a DVD-ROM drive, but I don't have a problem. You may want to see if the CD is dirty, if so, it may have not successfully transferred all the files over completely. I had that problem happen with my Soldier Of Fortune 2 CD. So, try using http://www.regcleaner.com and remove Jedi Outcast and see if re-installing it helps. Also make sure to update to the latest patches (1.03 and 1.04)
