lauser Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 Yes I was wondering how to make the smallest brush size possible. I know GRID 4 is the smallest. But what I'm trying to do is copy the lights from the Bespin or Narshadda maps. They are round and underneath lighting walkways. When I examined the Narshadaa streets map I selected the light and it was a PAPER-THIN BRUSH. Anyone know how to make this/that? Thanks in advance.
wedge2211 Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 You can make 1-unit-thick brushes. Or, you can make a square simple patch mesh, that will have no thickness at all.
lauser Posted May 13, 2003 Author Posted May 13, 2003 Uuumm...okay Wedge. You mean by using GRID 4 --->that <is> a brush ONE UNIT THICK? And I know I can make a CAP patch mesh. But the Narshadda lights are square. How? Thanx in advance...... BTW I went to your website Wedge. Great stuff going on there!!
wedge2211 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Make a brush a right width and length in the XY Top view, then click Curves > simple Patch Mesh and hit okay. You'll get your paper-thin mesh.
