Acrylic Posted June 1, 2003 Share Posted June 1, 2003 Ok, you people helped me once before for a computer program! I'm hoping you can help me again! I'm trying to record my voice, and it says "The specific device is already in use. Wait until it is free then try again." and I try and use a different program to record it and it say: "Another App. is recording audio. Stop recording with this other app." So, I'm wondering, whats the problem? It was working fine earlier this morning. (And in case anyone wonders, I restarted my computer like 3 times and still the same thing.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Double click Multimedia > In the Audio tab ensure that your recording device is properly set to the soundcard record device.
