Hound
Long story short. I have the retail version of Jedi Knight Outcast. I installed it when the game came out, unistalled it a month or two ago, and now would like to play again. Well, every time i try to install it, it runs the "confirm file deletion" screen as if the program is still on my comp. It isn't. No folders, no data, nothing in the registry, etc. Help! I can play off the cd, i think, but i can't patch it or do anything else. What's gone wrong here? Thanks in advance. Hound
Sam Fisher
A lot of people seem to have this problem, though I don't know what it is.
Andy867
Try running the uninstall again, but then use http://www.regcleaner.com to help clean out the registry of any link to Jedi Outcast (which can cause problems) Then, also check the CD for any scratches/dust/fingerprints. Then re-install the game, apply the 1.03 and 1.04 patches and download the latest video drivers, and you should be all set.
