Why can't I throw my lightsaber?

help with 3.6 - Massassi Temple - Jedi Training Academy - Yavin 4 Moon on the p.c

 

Any chance someone can help me. I’ve gone through the trial, without too much trouble, got the lightsaber, but I can’t get out of the trial. I have the solution but I can't throw my lightsaber. Is it me being thick or is the game not working right?

Does destroying the small pillars make a difference?

 

I've been stuck here for 2 weeks, getting ready to throw the thing out of the window!!!!!

 

Any help would be wonderful.

Press the right mouse button. That is the default key.

And when doing so, look for stuff out of the ordinary (look high and low)
