Jackrabbit Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I agree. I really like their pricing system. It's good from a marketing standpoint too. If you want to just try the game, it's $15 a month. If you want to play the game for a while, you pay only $12 a month (which is what most other MMOGs are now). I'm happy with their decision.

Let's say you subscribe for a year, then you decide 3 months later that you REALLY don't like the game. You're stuck. You paid for a full year up front, and now you can't get any money back. You will have paid for 9 months that are going to go to waste. The $12 per month rate for subscribing for a year is not better for YOU....it's better for THEM

Bottom line is this: If you can't afford $15.00 a month, don't play. If you can afford $15.00 a month, but don't think the game is worth it, don't play. If you just want to whine because the developers have decided to release against your superior judgement, don't play. As for me I WILL PLAY!!!!!!

Kaiser Isaac Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 I have dicided that......I will be using the 1 free month as a test period for my connection........If my connection rules then i will go with the 6 month plan.....(so i am not dedicated.....and revolv my life around getting my moneys worth).........but if my connection sux........well then i will have to wait till i get a high speed connection..............and for all those who have been worried about me............i called about a job today......so "REAPER" dont wait up on your comp worrying about if i get to play or not.......thank you and good night.....
