DSL Reliablity

Hi all,

 

I need to get DSL for SWG and need to find a good DSL company. What are your experiences with companies?...such as qwest, at&t, earthlink, yahoo, megapath, new edge, covad etc.

I use Verizon, and it's excellent. I've never had any other DSL provider, but from the stories I hear from other people, Verizon is the best in terms of reliability. Only about twice a month it randomly goes down for about 5 mins.

Yah its fast and cheap too. But it isn't avaliable where i live =[

I had Qwest a while back but they migrated everybody in my area over to MSN. Qwest was good, MSN wasn't. Now I have Comcast cable which is better than any DSL I've previously had.

You US people are so lucky. Cheap-ass BT, UK Broadband companies will only suply faster internet to areas were lots and lots of people will want it.

 

They set up trigger limits, and if people want better than 56k a certain amount of people have to sign upto this petition.

 

We have 25 more people to go before we get in our area, I can't wait.

I have BellSouth DSL, and in the 2 years I have had it, it has gone out 2 times that it was their fault.

 

The rest of the outages were because of storms knockingf down trees, or power outages.

 

Never had a problem with them.

Like me, im very lucky with my trigger happy 512k.
