If you want to play something to give you a feel for Multiplayer, try playing against Bots. Is it "worth it"? If you bought the game, you owe it to yourself to play through Single Player. I mean, why not? But it won't help you with MP, unless you are learning how to play First Person Shooters for the First Time.
