xAlucarDx Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Is the manual good? Is it large? does it have as much info as the "online manual" at the offical site? ~Alucard (I cant play SWG for two weeks cause im going on vaction.. is it worth picking it up before hand to read the manual while im away, or should i just wait.)
Akabane Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 The manual sure as hell isnt Baldurs Gate II, thus... its not worth picking up. I find manuals only SO useful, to the point at which extreme confusion is implied, Im a hands on guy, show me or lemme do it. Only way Im gonna laern anything.
xAlucarDx Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 heh, BG II manual was great.. about how large is the SWG manual?
Akabane Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Damn, Im not about the measure the thing, let alone get my box back out =D
UnfrozenCaveman Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 177 pages. It's somewhat useful if you don't know what you are doing. I was in beta, we didn't have manuals. They threw us out in the wilderness waiting for the kryat dragon to devour us. Lol- j/k. It's fun to read, but that's just me.
xAlucarDx Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 thanks, maybe I will pick it up if its 100+ pages
toolfan Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 you can get the manual from the offical starwars site to. its not very useful, its good to read though if you dont have the game yet and want a little bit more infomation on how to play then what you would find on fan sites. http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/manual.jsp?page=Listed%20Chapters
slade Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 there was a beta manual unfrozencaveman, it was useful for most commands and actions but was out of date consistantly
