shotgun
Well, here is what happens. I go into configuration and it locks (trying to access the video card for tests I guess) and in game only the lucas arts logo will appear but once the music starts up and such no video anymore (kicks me out to windows after the logo, click in the task bar, all black.) Here is what I tried and some info about my system. -Updated with the patch at lucas arts -Updated nvidia drivers to latest (gf4/ti4600) -Can't get into configuration to change anything Windows xp, sp1. Directx9, I had this before I installed, possible conflict? sb!live, latest drivers Thats all I can think of that might help? Kind of funny, found my DOTT cd recently and played it through again just fine (my god, scummvm save my life) but emi doesn't work anymore :\ (last time I had it installed though, I had win98) Any help is appreciated... Benny
Normally I'd say try direct3d instead of opengl or vice versa. However since you cant change this..you can change it manually and try that. Start>run>regedit Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC\Monkey4\Retail Look for OpenGL, if its set to 0 then Direct3D is enabled, if its set to 1 then OpenGL is enabled. Set it to the opposite of its current setting, exit regedit and try that.
