Exar_reborn Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 I haven't seen many people talking about that, In that one video on .Net there was a guy who had a Jo (staff) and it looks really cool, but i don't think it would fair well in combat. But is anyone doing these types?
Exar_reborn Posted July 2, 2003 Author Posted July 2, 2003 Well tons of people are being Trando TKA but I haven't heard a single word about swordsman/fencer/pikeman.
Jatari Bazrak Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 well I know Patman is going to be a pikeman and Vessen is going to be swordsman.
Grinch Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 I plan to be a pikeman/rifleman. Rifle will give me some range plus mind attacks. Pikeman is for close up fighting and has several stunning attacks. One bummer is that you get your first polearm certification after you train the first polearm skill. This means getting polearm xp will be a little more difficult at first because you do crappy damage when you do not have the necessary expertise to wield a weapon.
Exar_reborn Posted July 2, 2003 Author Posted July 2, 2003 Well i'm glad that there is some diversity in there.
impX Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 I agree with your Exar. Sounds like these two hybrid classes will be for the few and the proud. I especially admire those who plan to become chefs or bio-engineers/farmers/tailors. Seems like a lot of ppl want to be BHs, smugglers, marksmen, etc. It ain't smuggling if everyone is a smuggler It'd be interesting to see how many ppl would continue to play on a server that randomly assigns your PC a specific profession that he/she must become--no starting over. THAT would be a real challenge.
Xx_Patman_xX Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Iam almost a master polearm in Brawler. I have to say, I cant imagine being a Marksman. Once you go mele you never go back. I love it.
