way to get to desktop and back while playing?

I'd love to mine for metals and what not while getting back to the desktop and cruising the net....is there a way?

 

The standars windows key on my keyboard doesn't work.

Hit ALT and TAB at the same time

Go to Options (ctrl + o) and in the Interface tab is an option to enable the Windows key.

yup alt+tab works good to downszie it but i find when you do it you can't click on anything on your desktop

Well spaso.........Yet this is true........ i should Have explaned my method a little better....... after you hit ALT+TAB and your desktop coms up........You will see that you are unable to select anything......let alone see your courser.........When your desktop comes up simply hit ALT+CTRL+DELETE..........and a window will appear asking you if you want to close any running programs.......Simply X out of that screen and you will be able to select items from your desktop........This is the answer to your qwestion.....THE END.........

control and esc together works to and seems to respond faster than alt-tab and doesnt freak out your computer like cntrl-alt-delete does sometimes.

Although these all work, sometimes when you go back to the game. You lose sound, or the game even crashes sometimes. So i personally recomend you guys to not do it.

I use alt tab all the time, and I do mean all the time. I have never experienced the 'unable to click' thing you guys are talking about, and since the beginning of beta have only crashed once from this, though I actually think that was the server being brought down.

 

Make sure windows mode is enabled for both screen options, that might have something to do with it.
