macpj Posted July 3, 2003 Share Posted July 3, 2003 I brought out CMI again after a few years off and during the first opening movie of Guybrush writing in the bumper car the video starts off very fast, skipping four to five frames and sped up. It makes the movie appear to being playing in fast forward. After 5 seconds the fast forward stops and the movie clip plays normally. In the second video clip that follows Guybrush firing the unsupported cannon, the video speeds up again. When the video gets to the boat turning upside down, an error message plays and the game freezes. Ctl+Alt+Del and the error message is from SmushD5 stating "error 80070057 while locking the sound buffer. Please help me return CMI video to normal!
