I had a feeling this was done by accident (you starting a new post! :D), so...

You can move around exactly the same as if you were playing a first person, and if you have a mouse with a mousewheel, you can scroll between a first and third person view (to appreciate the graphics, stick to a third person view).

You can also use the right mouse button to move forwards. You can't use the mouse to direct your character around though. Thats done with the arrow keys. If you move the mouse around, that controls the camera. The turn based combat is in real-time, so its fairly similar to NWN, apart from having lasers and lightsabers! :ang2:

So you can move around exactly like in quake and other 1st person games yes?, and can you change the controls so the mouse can turn the charecter around? like in quake/outcast?

To be honest, I never tried to change the controls... they were perfectly laid out for SWG... :) I suppose you could change the mouse to move the character, but I wouldn't recommend it to be honest.

But yes, basically, you move like you would in Outcast/Doom/Quake. Its just the combat that is different, but to be honest, I love the turn-based combat for this game. It suits it perfectly! :D

Wow, I just randomly clicked on this thread, and I see it's about Morrowind :D

Since this isn't in SWG General Discussion, and I have no idea if this was meant to be a part of another conversation in another thread, I'm going to assume Kivan is asking about the game Morrowind, as opposed to SWG. :D

Kivan: Here's the default controls for Morrowind (note these are fully customizable, for example my brother uses the arrow keys in place of WASD, and the mouse to jump), which are handily shown on a diagram in back of the game manual:

W: Forward

A: Strafe Left

S: Back

D: Strafe Right

E: Jump

R: Switch to Magic

F: Switch to Weapon

T: Rest

J: Journal

- +: Previous/Next Spell

[ ] : Previous/Next Weapon

Tab: Toggle View (Hold down to move camera around character with mouse)

Caps Lock: Toggle Run

Shift: Run

Q: Auto-Run (only available if game is patched or upgraded to Tribunal and/or Bloodmon)

Ctrl: Sneak

F5: Quick Save

F9: Quick Load

F1: Quick Menu

1 - 9: Customizable Quick Keys

0: Switch to Hand-to-Hand

Space: Activate

Mouse 1: Use (uses item character is holding, i.e. attacks with a sword, picks with a lockpick)

Mouse 2: Menu Mode

Hope that helped...if you're talking about Morrowind. :D

If you're talking about SWG, which everyone else seems to think but your post doesn't evidence, then: I don't know (since I don't have SWG ^^). But so far as I know, SWG offers several different sets of keyboard assignments, one supposedly FPS-style. Since JKII and Quake are both FPS games, your answer is "yes".
