RIFA_StealthMan Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 I'm really embarassed to ask this but in GTKRadiant does anyone know how to make the textures solid in the preview window? I've tried everything I can and all I get is a empty box outlining the brush. But when I move the camera a certain distance away it becomes solid. Anyway to fix this? I can't map without seeing exactly how its gonna look. :o
Lil Killa Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 well could u explain it better? if your talking about the 2D (graph) view than all your gonna get is the outline. it sounds like your talking about the 3D view so i would recomend the following: press the button to the immediat right of thexyz button and select bilinear or trilinear.
RIFA_StealthMan Posted July 9, 2003 Author Posted July 9, 2003 I put the textures to trilinear but it still isn't working and yes im talking about the 3d view.
Lil Killa Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 is this for all of your brushes or just for some of them?
Lil Killa Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 well than if what i said earlier didn't work than I dunno whats happening (where is Lesslie when u need him?)
Leslie Judge Posted July 10, 2003 Posted July 10, 2003 I'm here, I'm here. Could you post a screenshot from the editor? My brain is defecting, so it could probably help to find out what the problem is. Maybe not.
RIFA_StealthMan Posted July 10, 2003 Author Posted July 10, 2003 IMAGE As you can see, I have it on trilinear.
Neø Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Try going into your view menu and select Cubic Clipping, see if that works.
RIFA_StealthMan Posted July 11, 2003 Author Posted July 11, 2003 no. that didn't really do anything at all
Eldritch Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Largo/RIFA Man, Multiple forum names is very uncool. You can change your name in the Lucasforums Store if you don't like your name anymore, but don't create a new account every time you want a different name.
RIFA_StealthMan Posted July 11, 2003 Author Posted July 11, 2003 Sorry about that, I'll make sure not to do it again.
