Needed Professions and Leaders

The Associates still need Tailors, Miners and possibly Doctors.

 

Tailors-we need uniforms! We want to stand out in the crowd, right? I recently purchased a Decorative Vest, that would look REALLY cool as uniform, if I get a chance I'll post a screenie of it. Feel free to discuss ideas for uniforms.

 

I know, you are thinking, right now, we need to worry about a PA hall, etc. I couldn't agree more, however, we could have a PA Hall, but we wouldn't look like PA members (expect for the nifty little tag) without uniforms.

 

Miners-the biggest rant from out Artisans is that they have to mine and pay for their harvestors, instead of spending most of their time crafting, or building.

 

I really would like to see more of the inactive players pick up on this. Speaking of inactive players, sorry to change the topic, the Associates have around 70 members, where are they all? I'd say, only 30-40 post on these boards, I've seen less than 20 in-game. Where is everyone?

 

Anyway, back the topic...

 

Doctors-I'm really tempted to pick up Doctor, or Combat Medic, due to the limited quantity. True, they don't serve a role right now, but will later, after we get rolling.

 

Right now, I seem to do be one of the most advanced medics in the Asses, I only have less than half of the proffession, because the only person I usually heal is myself, and I can't get any XP for that.

 

And finally, we need sety back. Has anyone seen here in-game? I haven't. She hasn't posted on the boards. How can she be an important leader if she isn't here.

 

Speaking of leaders, here I go again, the Asses, where supposed to be a democratic PA, at least that's what is says on the Associates page on swgalaxies.net and all the policies that have been made are made by a select few. That would make this PA a multi-person dictatorship.

 

Did we have a voice on the taxes? No. It was imposed. If I have to pay a tax, then I'm going to have to charge for my healing services. Sorry, the leaders, said so.

 

We should all be able to go to "Secret Meeting" on Sunday. Why can't we? Secrets? That's why I'm skeptical on taxes and paying them directing to a PERSON, not to mention a LEADER.

 

I'm certain, after we get a PA Bank Account, that THEY will be the only ones that can touch it. If they were smart that would have only ONE PERSON, a DIFFERENT PERSON, each week have access to it. Those people, couldn't be leaders, either.

 

I'm sorry, leaders, but if you keep this up, this PA will fold too fast to see a PA Hall. I've watched and contributed my fair share to see that happen.

 

I will stand by in support of the little people, voicing their views to the leaders. So that they might be fairly and equally be represented. starts playing "Hail to the Chief"

Jek, Set is in Germany last I heard. The taxes were discussed... and discussed... and DISCUSSED some more in thr taxes thread!!! There was even a poll. And Lord Helmet, if he ever shows up again, is supposed to be our banker. I am almost a Combat Medic, I just have a little under two more ranks in Medic to fill first.

 

Murashu is a Combat Medic AND a Doctor, so do not complain about us having none. Sure, we could always use more Medics, but Murashu and I are accomplished healers.

 

I have... err... HAD a friends list with over 25 of our members until it turned invisible. (Hope that gets fixed soon) But just becasue they are not in-game 100% of the time, does not mean they are not in-game. They may not play at the same times you do. In FACT, I have RARELY seen you go online when I am on, and I have NEVER even SEEN you in-game. Maybe you need to make some effort to find those who are online when you are. Just a suggestion.

 

We already discussed uniforms... nad those are OUT with a rather unanimous NO! Gnothi Sueton is our Tailore, aka, Starcords, our resident Canadian.

 

We could use miners, but who would want to just sit around and mine stuff? They have other professions too.

 

As for the "secret" Meetings, you ARE allowed to sit in on those. No one and nobody is stopping you. In fact, the leaders have encouraged us to sit in before.

I pretty much disagree with everything except for the lack of medics. We could always use more medics. I think you need to rethink your complaints and try again.

We have doctors and we have medics and if you are only half way thru medic you aren't what I would consider "advanced."

 

Read the forums....most of the stuff you brought up has been discussed sometimes even discussed in multiple languages.

 

No one is hiding anything from you guys, if you want to attend the meeting then put forth some effort and come to the meeting. This sunday at 5pm EST at the crafters retreat on naboo. Send me a tell in game and I will give you the cords.

 

Right now I am the PA banker as appointed by Corzip. I control the money (all 12,000CR lol) for the PA but I do not decide what it is spent on or who spends it. Corzip directs the money flow and I log it. If you are uncomfortable with me handling the money (that you didnt donate) then bring it up at the meeting or discuss it here on the boards in a constructive manner.

 

I have posted a list of names on the swgassociates.com website. I would suggest writting them down and adding them to your friends list once it is working again.
