Zoom Rabbit
He had a cameo in the Monkey Sutra. He was the magic banana vendor at the market stall in act three. Didn't you recognize him...? Ray: Why download into a car designed to transport a body that you've just made obsolete? As an AI program, one could go anywhere by fiber optic cable at the speed of light. Think outside the box...in fact, screw that--what box? Of course, notions such as 'place' will be somewhat different in a future such as this. To an AI program, the internet we are using right now would be more real than what we call reality. Which brings me to a fine point which presents itself in my last sutra, and what I think may well be the only instance of prophecy that shows up in my *inspired* writings: the robot's prediction that AI would become self aware by means of the internet. To me, this suggests that the infinitely complex web of electronic connections worldwide that we have created is a sort of matrix into which an AI program can have access to enough varied experience that it can approach true self awareness. I'm not sure if this idea has occurred to anyone else, but there it is in my sutra. Important note: The Robots From the Future Sutra is not a true story. I'm dealing with the imagery in the story objectively because of its *inspirational* nature. Anyone reading these can have different interpretations, and even I myself find new meanings hidden within them when I re-read them later.

DAD.. when will you download the new POOL?? Or perhabs some virus to make girls easy going.. Hahaha.. infinite possibilities!!! But thats not the point i guess .. i wonder if it will be somehow done by us .. or will 'life' itself do the job (as usually) .. Maybe if its initialized through mankind it IS what life usually does. Zoom Rabbit
I knew it! Ray is actually a self-aware AI program! *Tam-tam-taaaaam!* If I existed as a computer program...I would be mainly afraid of one thing: supernova. A large enough stellar explosion would produce an EMP strong enough to wipe an entire civilization off any storage medium within light years. Of course, such a radiation wave would fry people, too. Here is some happy nice sutra, not in story form: The Rainbow Sutra Thuis have I heard-- When God said 'Let there be light,' that light was radiated into the rainbow of colors. From red to violet, all together white or not at all black, it is a lifegiving river coming from on high... And also a bridge back for those who can simply be water, or color. All colors radiating are white. Is that God? All colors absorbed are black. Is that Him? And, of course, all colors simply blended are muddy brown...and a human being is any variation of brown. Behold the rainbow. Om! Peace
