I currently use Chitin and was wondering if the other types available (Ubese, Padded, Tantel, etc.) were better...with the least hinderance. darthfergie Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 Chitin has a nice special resistance to Kinetic...so for right now I'd stick to it...if you arn't satisfied with it...try to find a pretty highly advanced armorsmith and ask him to make some armor to your specifications (say, put most experiment points into Kinetic resistance). I've got some good chitin...got around 28% resistance for all pieces (some more, some less). Considering the composite I've seen cost about 15x as much as the chitin armor and had a 23% resistance (to everything)...I think I'll wait a while before grabbing anymore armor...hopefully I'll find some composite that is better experimented on...and made by a non-imp (if you get my drift).
