Armor for a Brawler?

What is the best armor type for a Brawler to use? I currently use Chitin and was wondering if the other types available (Ubese, Padded, Tantel, etc.) were better...with the least hinderance.

Chitin has a nice special resistance to Kinetic...so for right now I'd stick to it...if you arn't satisfied with it...try to find a pretty highly advanced armorsmith and ask him to make some armor to your specifications (say, put most experiment points into Kinetic resistance). I've got some good chitin...got around 28% resistance for all pieces (some more, some less).

 

Considering the composite I've seen cost about 15x as much as the chitin armor and had a 23% resistance (to everything)...I think I'll wait a while before grabbing anymore armor...hopefully I'll find some composite that is better experimented on...and made by a non-imp (if you get my drift).
