What's an area portal and how do I use it?

What's an area portal and how do I use it? I heard you should use them in doors to improve perfromance?

Mighty, you really need to keep all your questions to one post, or start reading some of the posts rather than starting new ones.

 

I've already given you a link to RD's Mapping University - he explains things like Area Portals, and how to use them.

 

You really need to go through and follow all those tutorials before posting any more questions - we'll be more than happy to help you after you've gained some basic knowledge from those lessons.

really? Which lesson? I've already done most of the tutorials there. I did general concepts 101 and 102 and some of the ones on curves... i really wish he'd finished the tutorials cause there's a lot of interesting stuff in the grey.. oh well.
