Allronix
And a NICE play on words from the folks at Bioware! Main Entry: rev·e·nant Pronunciation: 're-v&-"nän, -n&nt Function: noun Etymology: French, from present participle of revenir to return Date: 1827 : one that returns after death or a long absence - revenant adjective Our dear player character (whatever the alignment) certainly fits that description. SamNMax
What are you talking abou..... Oh, I get it! Pretty sneaky Bioware.
Endar
Very sneaky. Wonder what was Revans first name...He picked it when he embraced the dark, didnt he? Memory refreshed...Anyone remember game called "Revenant"? It was an RPG with decent graphics, good story & interesting plot twists... and of course, great fightning system. There was a trainer from which you learned new skills and combos after each level up.... Just a flashback
boinga1
Psst! Use the spoiler tags, Luke!
Endar
Asking for Revans first name is a spoiler?....Anyone knows it anyway? Or Malak's? Every Sith picks his own 'nick' (Anakin-Vader, Palpatine-Sidius etc.) They pick a name when they start walking the Dark Path for real. And now comes the SPOILER The name You pick at the beggining (and keep it despise of being who-we-know-we-are) is a Light Side storyline, isnt it? I remember in some conversations You could select answer: "I'm no longer Revan, my name is [your name here]." So, is it the THIRD name this character is using, or is it the one he has been using before he embraced the dark? There's propably no answer to this question, and Im just doing myself a brainstorm here edit- Remember Obi-Wan telling Luke his father is dead? All Jedi's turned to Sith are *dead* to Jedi. Sith cannot use their old name because it holds too much of memories of being 'good' and all to them. They choose a new name & new life.
StarScream423
What about the older sith? I don't remember Exar Kun or Ulic Qel-Droma changing their names when they became sith. Although they were sith before Darth Bane(I think) declared that all sith must use Darth in their names.
Endar
Star Wars universe is big, but I dont think there was any book BEFORE Exar Kun (though I stopped reading them after Zahn's trilogy<---enjoyed), so We dont really know, do we. DO WE????
boinga1
No. That main character's name is SUPOSED to be a secret unless you've played through the game. Due to my own ineptitude, I have learned of this spoiler... The PC's real name is whatever you give him (in my opinion) but Revan is probably his real name. Endar
Yea, but if every Sith change their name after becoming dark, then that was NOT his first name. O, whatever. Just a brainstorm.
