It helped me write a much better, more interesting story--you can see a huge jump in quality from my first few chapters of The Adventures of Jolee Bindo compared to my latest story I have going in CEC called The Dragonfighters.

I wrote AoJB starting after TSL--I got the idea from Mical commenting that so much had been lost from the Dantooine archives, including 'The Adventures of Jolee Bindo'. I'd love to write an entire series for that character some day. He's a lot of fun to write for.
