okay... apparently that hilt is illegal (rolling eyes) according to -DK-, which I don't understand. but... so it looks like I will have to get this done ... illegally.

or have someone do it for me. LOL but I want to learn someday.

but seriously, if you have any links to tips, tools and tuts.. I am looking to make a plot item ( the one you build yourself) orange saber with defender hilt ( see modding request > defender hilt) and have it take normal crystals... that is until I get into modding crystals. so it would be like <full name> saber... blah blah... does that make sense.

good stuff. I look forward to reading more. sorry if I am dumping work on your plate. I am really really trying to learn how to do this myself.

I was refereed to you by harIII. This is what I am trying to do; I want to 1.) to adjust the defender saber hilt to have a orange blade. and be <fullname's> lightsaber to be fully adjustable. You know.. that one you create in the game... and then learn how to do these things myself. 2.) to know which programs do what... and if I want to play around.. i.e. make new skins for items and clothing... and non clothing. .. just so I don't annoy people.

the hilt is called a defender saber. If I could find the model to add color to it and such.

Once I find that file name.. I follow that thing... but for my specific hilt... or is there something I need to do to get that orange blade and accept orange crystals?

and I will actually send you the file name that I am trying to alter. It's one of the organic hilt in T7's USM mod that I want orange... along with another one. but... this will help me out.

oh... does it matter if I am playing tsl?

I am wondering if I could mod a mod and how I would go about doing it... lightsabers... and do you know a easy tut to follow. some of them are really hard to understand.

I love some of your hilts for the mods and I using it... the problem is that some of the cooler hilts.. (well all of the cooler hilts) don't include orange as a color nor and I find the right looking crystal in that color either. I was wondering if I wanted to try this on my own... what tools would I use? and I felt funny posting this in a open forum. but I think I am going to.

I was looking for a bit of advice and I didn't what to pose it. Which tool would I use to mod the color choices for lightsabers. for example... I have a couple of super hilts, and crystals that I want to use .. but they don't come in my favorite color.... lets pretend.. ohhhh it's orange. and tips on what tools to use. ?????
