Mandalorian Mercenary

I was wondering what kind of music you listen to. I listen to rock, but mainly metal, and here comes the wierd part, I only listen to Christian rock. Life as a Christian metalhead is pretty difficult; I'm rejected by the metalhead community for being a "self-righteous zealot," and I'm rejected by the Christian community for listening to "blasphemous noise."

I used to listen to bands like Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Tool, and Disturbed all the time. But the lyrical themes and content in their songs began to have a psychological affect on me. I was more aggressive, hateful, violent, and on the verge of things I shouldn't do such as drugs and premarital sex. I've since stopped listening to them. But I do long to hear a Christian metal band with the sound of Godsmack. If such a band does or will exist, they will automatically replace Red as my favorite band. So how about you?
