Hey- I've gotten pretty far, and I've fixed the level up problem, but is there a script that checks what class the character is?
-
No, I mean in script. If I added exp to my party member, then it would be different depending on the player's- and his/her party's- current level. For example, if the party member was level 11, and I gave him 100000 exp, it would skyrocket. If he was level 18, it wouldn't. See what I'm saying?

Aha! It works!
Now, I just need to find a way to make it so a level is added to the party member. How would I go about doing that?

The replier said used "oNPC" as a placeholder (I assume)- what's the tag or code I should put in there? The Template ResRef? Or am I actually supposed to put that in the script? is it supposed to relate to the equip lightsaber code?
-
Alright, so this may sound stupid, but what is an "oNPC"? What should I put in that section?

Oops. I did the script wrong. Silly me.
I feel really embarrassed. Two visitor messages in a row, and with this being the third. Sorry if this is annoying.

Woah, I almost forgot about your birthday message. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Happy late birthday to you.

Alright... but when I try to compile the script for a party member becoming a jedi in KOTOR tool, this error appears (I own it via Steam by the way, but that doesn't matter as I have compiled other scripts before. Also, AddMultiClass is a selectable script phrase in the bottom phrase helper thing):
Lookup path root set to: c:\programfiles(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\swkotor\
Loaded nwscript.nss from c:\programfiles(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\swkotor\override
Compiling: missionisjedi.nss
missionisjedi.nss(1): Error: Syntax error at "AddMultiClass"
Compilation aborted with errors
Total Execution time = 15 ms

Wait a minute- to compile a script, you just save it with an .nss extension, right? Sorry, I haven't modded in forever.

Thanks. I remember having some trouble with the scripting... I'll tell you if I have some trouble.

I just realized I totally abandoned that "Make Everyone In Your Party A Jedi" mod. I might start that up again.
