tabacco Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 It is time you were introduced to the newest wonder of the modern world... ScummVM! It'll let you play the games on XP, plus all kinds of crazy operating systems like OSX and Linux and PocketPC.
Stealth_Ninja Posted September 5, 2003 Author Posted September 5, 2003 Thanks, dude. :D EDIT: Won't this only play point and click games though?
BigJKO Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 This will only play LucasArts games, and Beaneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword 1 & 2!
Huz Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 If you're in the UK or, er, various bits of Europe, you can buy the LucasArts Entertainment Pack, which includes Sam and Max, Full Throttle, The Dig and Grim Fandango, with new XP-compatible executables for the first two games. The other two work anyway, or so we're told... Alternatively, if you already have the original game CDs, you can find someone else who's bought the Entertainment Pack, convince them that LucasArts should have released these updated versions for free, and get them to send you the executables. But that would be illegal and very very bad. Cough.
