darthdrak
does anyon here watch the T.V show M*A*S*H?
StormHammer
I used to watch M*A*S*H when it was broadcast on British TV. Not the first series, but the later ones. And they broadcast them without the canned laughter track in the background, which made them better to watch, IMHO. I hate laughter tracks in any show - I know when to laugh at something funny. It was a great show...and from what I recall it ran longer than the actual war on which it was based. I wish they would show it again on Brit TV, sans laughter track, again... Lynk Former
lol yeah that laughter track is one of the most evil creations... whoever came up with that is one sick bastard! *shakes his fist at them* But anywayz, M*A*S*H is great, it's still airing on TV but I've seen the entire series too many times XD
Uber_Saber
We have all the seasons that have come out on DVD thus far... (Season Five and counting) You can remove the laugh tracks, which I consider to be truly evil, as well.
obi
The first 3 seasons of M*A*S*H were the best. It was still good with Potter, BJ, and Winchester, but Trapper and Frank were better. I have the first three seasons on DVD, and I have seen every episode.
Uber_Saber
Really? I thought the later seasons were better. I like Henry and Trapper and Frank, but Winchester and Potter and BJ were more interesting, to me. I mean, Winchester could actually dish insults out, unlike Frank, who was just fodder. And unlike Frank, who grew as a character about one centimeter, Winchester grew from the intelligent twerp into a decent person. Just my opinion. StormHammer
I also preferred the later seasons, to be honest. And I didn't realise you could turn off the laughter track with the DVD version of the series. I'll have to go and scout them out at a retailer near me. StarScream423
When I was younger, I used to hate the show, simply beause I didn't like the opening music(note I was quite young at the time), I still don't like the music, but I love the show, it's on TV quite a lot, but I usually watch something else instead.
