Spawn_2k3
I sure hopew they make a sequal to this game, they could make it where u can bring your info over from the first game(weither your good or evil) and have too differnt story lines depending on your character! I think at the end of the game, it leaves alot of things undone, and a sequal or two would be great! Hell they make movie trillogy's for SW's, why not make a game trillogy? Boba Rhett
I am amazingly sure that there will be a sequal. When a game sells that well you can basically stop holding your breath about wether or not a sequal is around the bend.
Elegy
Yeah, I'd buy a sequel. This game rocked. So far I've beat it on the light-side solution. Gonna go back tommorrow and do it the darkside way now. But it was definately worth the purchase of an Xbox just to have the game. But, they left it open at the end for another game when that Yoda-looking guy (he doesn't talk all ass-backwards, dammit! ) says that everyone must remain vigilant, because a time may arise when you're called apon once again. Such is the duty of the Jedi.
Com Raven
Though I am not sure if they would allow you to use the characters from the first again... After all, there are simply no rules for level progression after Lvl 20 so far
Elegy
It would be cool if they did, though. Heh, look at us. All talking about it like the sequel just hit the shelves or something. But, I guess the sequel to Xenosaga is going to let you do that and I have a feeling that'll come in handy. But, Xenosaga saved the game at the end -- this one didn't. So I'll agree that it isn't likely we'll see that happening.
Endar
Its a Bioware game, so exp cap remover will be created... unfortunately, only for pc ver. Which Im goin to play anyway
Wolfesbane
It would be difficult to do a second. Would they make it off the dark side ending, or the light? Making both would mean the game couldnt have as much stuff as the first one did.
Spawn_2k3
im sure if they wanted, they could make something in the sequal that locates a saved file and can import it to that game. if they did do this tho, u probley would have alot more to do in the game as the light-side weither the dark, cause on the dark-side u r now the leader of the sith, and all u have to do is stay that way, and not get killed, when on the light-side u can fight more battles with the sith to try to stop them from regrouping or something alng those lines! just saying, if they wanted to do that, they could, its the the matter if they want to do it that way or not! Endar
Originally posted by Com Raven Yeah, you can maybe do that for D&D games, but there are no Epic Rules for Star Wars... In my experience with RPG's, I am sure there will be cap remover. After all, people dont like to be 'limited'. As for the sequel, Im pretty confident it will NOT continue old plot...and if it did, then LIGHT side only. Whats the fun being ruler in RPG game? It's better to walk your way to the top (as in Kotor...kinda ). Personaly, I want to start playing as an apprientice in Sith academy (REAL academy, not just 'naked' bunch of rooms). Getting to know the Sith way, player could either continue his path to the Dark, defect to Light side, or become a renegade Jedi doing whatever he pleases, like becoming first Jedi Assasin (or Assasin Jedi, whatever) in galaxy. Elegy
If they did do a sequel it'd likely pick up from the light-side solution. They did that with the Jedi Knight series (comparing apples & oranges by comparing an FPS to an RPG, I know. But still.) In Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight you can either beat it darkside or lightside, but Mysteries of the Sith picks up from the lightside aspect.
