jediduo Posted September 20, 2003 Share Posted September 20, 2003 Has anyone seen Underworld? I want to know if it's any good. It looks kind of dark and scary, which would be cool. I also happen to think that Kate Beckinsale is hot, and am interested in how well she pulls off an action role. Anyway, anyone got an opinion? With few exceptions, there's a lack of character development in the story...but, well, let me put it this way. It's set up like a comicbook, right up to the very last scene that screams "SETTING UP FOR ISSUE TWO!" The atmosphere is excellent and there's some pretty kewl scenes, and there are good character moments to be had, and very nice history/mythology setup. Sherack Nhar Posted September 22, 2003 Share Posted September 22, 2003 From what I got of the IGN FilmForce review, it seems like it's a good concept and a fun ride, but the director (a first-timer) makes some mistakes that most newcomers do, such as trying to cram too many ideas in one movie.
