RicardoLuigi...
mi2. it gave you a lot more options what with the islands than in any other mi games. hey, someone voted for mi4....come on, you can admit it... *hey, everyone, grab your pitchforks and torches!!!*
Swedishman
although MI3 had the best atmosphere...., no question about THAT either.....
ptdc
I disagree :/ The first two had the best atmosphere. CMI was ok, but EMI was completely devoid of it.
Fred
The MI2 islands were just class all the way. I seriously need to move to Booty Island when I finally grow up and stop playing early-1990 Adventure games (yeah, like that's gonna happen)
Janaia
For me it's a tie between CMI and MI2. I like CMI better because of the voice-acting, while MI2 was great both plot-wise and when it comes to the atmosphere.

SilentFlower
I have to pick CMI. And the reason is the good humor the game was packed with. The varition of jokes were pleasant, unlike EMI which was a tad too busy with squeesing jokes here and there in the dialouge. But it was still a great game. Lemon Head
I was in a real quandry about this poll. It was a toss up between MI2 and CMI. I don't care what people say, CMI was superb. The way it looked and felt was just so amazing, I could feel myself getting warmer just looking at that carribean sun. In the end i had to choose MI2 though because after MI1 it just seemed to go instantly from strength to strength without any seams, where-as CMI first made me go '...what? er...hey, what happened to my beautiful monkey island!!' before i discovered it's inner depth. Also MI2 has that classic line "I don't touch other peoples stools" Superb.
Anomonous Guy
when does it say that in MI2? i thought that was in MI3 in the goodsoup hotel...
Lemon Head
Go to the workshop in Woodtick when the carpenter has gone out and try to pick up his little stool - there you are. It may well have been resurrected in CMI, it's a classic line after all, but i never noticed it.
Anomonous Guy
Oh right, i didnt remember that... the last time i played MI2 i knew what to do so i generally didnt do things like that And im not sure if the line was actually resurrected, i just remember the sttols, and Guybrush did play with those stools i think so weird...
