Howdy again again,

 

 

 

Today I was walking around shooting things when it came to my mind,is there a way to create a Macro that makes me say something like every 2 minutes.(Example)lets say I am AFK and I want to advertise my store every couple of minutes like this /yell FOR THE BEST GUNS N' ARMOR GO TO MY STORE AT -0 -0!!Is there a way to set up macros that makes you say something every few minutes???

a friend of mine is a master musician.... and he got all of his XP doing every move my himself he kinda hates people who use dancing macro's and music macro's and all the while they are AFK... hehe but ok this is a whole different macro

 

and cant you just ctrl uparrow and enter?

Try this:

 

/shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso; /pause 300; /shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso; /pause 300; /shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso; /pause 300; /shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso; /pause 300; /shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso; /pause 300; /shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso

 

Now, that one will run for 30 minutes and yell your text every five. Also, you can use the /ui trick to make it infinite, but that's more work for me to look up and explain. Basically, you create two macros.

 

Macro 1:

/shout For the BEST weapons in the galaxy, see soandso; /pause 300; /ui action toolbarSlot02

 

Macro 2:

/ui action toolbarSlot01

 

Now, place Macro 1 in the first box in your hotkeys (upper left) and Macro 2 in the box just to the right of it. Hit Macro 1 and walk away. They will cycle indefinetely. I use this to auto grind on the roulette and slot machines.

EDIT: Oh yeah, to stop the cycle, just move one of the macros to a different box. I hate it when I forget the important stuff. You know that three people are in game right now trying to figure out how to shut themselves up. lol

 

EDIT Again: If you ask me really nicely, I might even teach you how to make a looping crafting macro to XP grind. *looks innocent*

Did you know that you can create a manually written macro and reference it in with another macro in your tool bar? Just something interesting for you guys to research.

See I have an idea and I need to say something every few minutes....so I just set up to macros

 

Macro 1: /yell For the best guns N's Armor come to -0 -0; /pause; /ui action toolbarslot(what ever number it is,but what if you have 2 rowes of Macros?how will you do that)

 

Then Macro 2: /ui action toolbarSlot(the number slot the first slot is in?)

Sorry for double posts:(

 

But I set up my macros got them working except instead of repeating what I said it says

 

"You can not do this action because your target isn't an animal"

 

it says something like that......any ideas why,I changed a few thigns around but it still says that animal thing.should I add something eslse to make it repeat what i said?

BTW, I always forget if the toolbar numbers are from left to right or from top to bottom, so you may need to play with it. I think it goes top to bottom actually. I'll have to double check some of my coding.

 

EDIT:

Okay, I think I have the answer, but I can't get in game to double check. I coded this stuff over a month ago. If you have a single row of tools, then it's left to right. If you have a double row, it's top to bottom. Let me see if I can make a diagram:

 

Single:

[01][02][03][04] [05][06][07][08] [09][10][11][12]

 

Double:

[01][03][05][07] [09][11][13][15] [17][19][21][23]

[02][04][06][08] [10][12][14][16] [18][20][22][24]

 

 

Also, always remember it has to be two digits, therefore slot one is actually slot 01

Macros for Musicians and Dancers is OK...just as long as they don't go AFK. I am opposed to that. *sniff* You know how depressing it is to walk in Coronet with a full band but almost everyone's AFK? I grinded there for three hours for the last exp before Master Musician and I was in agony...so, well BORING.

 

But yeah, if it's advertising about a store, by all means. As long as it doesn't become spam. No one likes a spammer.

I'm still trying to figure out what the devs changed it to. Don't be surprised if I don't find this one.

Okay this much of it still works:

 

/ui toolbarSlot** (where ** equals the slots previously listed where your craftying tool is); /select ** (where ** equals the schematic number)

 

There is currently no schematic number list to reference, so you'll have to play with this.

 

End product should look like this:

/ui toolbarslot00; /select 00

 

Now, this will open your crafting tool and automatically choose an given schematic. We have not yet found how to auto-fill the required slots, but it used to be /nextCraftingPhase. If anyone finds anything on this it would be most appreciated.

 

Update on slot number assignments:

00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11

12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23

 

Anyways, at least for grinding Medics, Schematic 00 is usually your Biological Effect Controller. Select the Practice button on the last screen and then you should not end up with 60 of these to delete. Use cheap resources and an expensive crafting tool that has been highly experimented. Do not use a crafting station as this only adds an unnecessary step. Experimentation does not have any additional XP gain with it...so don't waste your time. If you line up your boxes right, this is a simple click, drag, drag, click, click and click. If you have three or four crafting tools you can do this non-stop at about 100 Med Crafting XP per 20 seconds. That's 300 per minute and 18,000 per hour. Good luck.
