The Sith ship dropped out of hyperspace and Brittany guided Shado's ship carefully behind it, trying to remain undetected. The ship landed on a nearby planet, but Brittany hesitated.

"I have a bad feeling about this," she said quietly. She turned to Rick. "I don't think we should land just yet. We're still tracking them, right?"

Rick nodded in response. "Good. We'll wait a bit until the coast is clear, and we'll land in a safe place." Brittany said with the sound of hope in her voice. She would not give up on Shado, nor would Rick. Meanwhile, the Sith's ship had landed. Within the ship, soldiers and crew alike were exiting from it. Darth Hadeous and Shado were the last members inside it. They walked together halfway down the ramp to the docking bay, when Darth Hadeous turned and faced him. "Shado, I noticed your robes are quite torn and tattered. Not very becoming of one such as yourself. There are some spare robes, that are brand new within our base. I would like you to take one and keep it, as a small gift from me. Shado was reluctant, but decided it wasn't a good idea to insult his current host, especially in his own element. He nodded in agreement. "Oh yes, one more thing. My servents will have made a room for you to stay, within the room will be your new robes, and a very special lightsaber that is also now : yours. The lightsaber is a gift from my master, should you choose to accept it." Shado didn't know what to say, so he nodded once again. He wanted to think some negative thoughts of the Sith's odd kindness towards him, but decided it would be wiser to keep his mind clear of any thought whatsoever. Shado and Hadeous continued on to the base.

They finally arrived at the doors of the base, which were guarded by two Sith soldiers, as well as two Jedi. Each Sith remained frozen in guard positions, as their training had tought them to. Hadeous and Shado entered the base. Shado couldn't believe how long the hallways extended, and how many rooms there were. There were beautiful female servants walking all around the inside of the base, attending to other guests. Hadeous finally brought Shado to his room. "And here, my friend, is where you will stay until called to by my master. If you need anything at all, just call up one of the servants. They will be more than happy to help you with anything that is needed." With that said, Darth Hadeous made his way to his master's meditation/throne room. Shado entered his room and stared in awe at how extravagant it looked. He had never been in such a classy room as this was. He walked over to his bed and there sat his new robes, and lightsaber. In a way, it was kind of exciting to him. He had not forgotten his purpose for being there however, and decided not to let his guard down. He took his robes and went into the dressing room to change into them. He also took his lightsaber, which probably wasn't a bad idea.

Night fell over the planet. Brittany, Rick, Hero, and T-3PO stared out of the window at the head of Shado's ship. "If we're going to land, now would be the best time." Rick said with a hint of warning in his voice. "Right." replied Brittany. After a moment, the Widowmaker had landed in a safe and secret opening of rocks near, but not too near the base. "Let's go. T-3, stay on board, keep Hero with you as well. If something goes wrong, we'll need your help." Rick said to the droid. T-3PO nodded, with an expression that looked clearly worried about the whole situation. Rick and Brittany then exited the ship, lightsabers in their hands, just in case.

Meanwhile, Shado finished dressing into his new robes. He gazed at his new apparel in the mirror of his dressing room. What he saw, bothered him a little. "Black robes, the sign of a Dark Jedi ..." he thought to himself. "Well, right now, they're just clothes ... clothes that fit surprisingly well ... it's almost a little disturbing .." Shado shrugged the thought out of his mind as he returned to his bedroom. He returned to find a female servant, waiting for him, and sitting on the bed. "Master, Vorn, I pressume! It's about time you showed up!" the servant said with a fake smile. "What are you doing in here ... how did you get in? The door was locked ..." he said with a cautious look on his face. His hand quietly slipped near his lightsaber just in case. "I have a key. I was given specific instructions to attend to you in anything .... anything at all you may need, Master Vorn." she said seductively. "Well, I'm just fine, so you can go." Shado said, with a bit of offense heard in his voice. "Go?" she asked, as if a little startled by the request. "Yes, you may go. Thank you for your concern." Shado said as he sat in a chair and began putting on his new boots that went with his robes. "You ... you mean you do not need my assistance? Please let me, Master Vorn, if I do not, I will be punished!" she said worringly. Shado looked up at her after he finished putting his boots on. "Punished? Why? You have done nothing wrong." he said as he stood up. "I was given specific instructions to .." " I know, I know." Shado interrupted. "I don't need anything, and I wouldn't ask you to do anything like that anyway. Do not worry, I will say nothing to your master. Now go." "Y ... yes, Master Vorn. I will be just down the hall if you need anything at all, okay?" she said with a real smile this time. "Fine. Thank you." he said. "Thank you, kind sir." she said. The servant girl left the room and locked the door behind her. Shado sat on his bed. He felt a bit tired, as usual, it had been a long day. He decided he would rest until called upon. He didn't exactlly feel safe in this place, but figured that if the Sith wanted him dead right away, they would have killed him as soon as he entered their ship. He layed down on his bed, shut his eyes, and quickly fell asleep.

As Shado slept, he had a dream. The dream was more or less like small glimpses given by the Force. He could see himself, Brittany, Rick, Hero, and an older looking Jedi who he did not recognize. The glimpse showed them landing on the planet Korriban. Shado suddenly woke up, when he heard a noise. He leaned up a bit to investigate the sound. It was just some birds singing. Shado shook his head and let out a tiny laugh. He scooted himself back down onto his bed, and returned to his sleep. After a few moments of seeing nothing, a new glimpse came to him.

This time, it was of Brittany and the elder Jedi. It appeared that the Jedi and Brittany were arguing, and Shado was trying to stop them. This glimpse left him, and soon another one had shown through. This time, it was of Shado and the elder Jedi alone. The Jedi was training Shado in the ways of the Force. It seemed that Shado and the elder got along quite well. After a brief moment, that vision also had vanished.

Shado had one final vision. This vision was a special one. He and Brittany were alone in a room. Shado was yelling at Brittany, and both of them were in tears. Brittany was sitting down, her face burried in her hands as she cried. Shado walked over to the elder Jedi, that was lying on the ground. He was dead. Shado leaned down and held the man in his arms. A quick flash showed Rick Ulo enter the room, with the hilt of his lightsaber in his hand. He snuck up behind Shado and nailed him hard in the back of the head with it. Brittany fell to Shado's side, but Rick pulled her away from him. He said something that Shado could not make out, Brittany nodded her head, and the two left the room.

The vision had ended, and caused Shado to leap up in his bed, awoken in a cold sweat. Conveniently, in fact, oddly conveniently, Darth Hadeous arrived at Shado's room, and from the outside, knocked on his door. "Shado? Are you alright in there?" he said. Shado took a moment to gather his thoughts. He rose from his bed. "I ... I'm fine." Shado opened the door. "The Emporer would is ready to see you now." Hadeous said with a slight smile. The Sith were being just a little too nice to Shado. He didn't trust it or them one bit. Nevertheless, he followed Hadeous as he lead him down the long hallways to meet his master.

Hadeous and Shado traveled the halls until they finally reached a huge doorway with two doors covering the entryway. "Hold here for a moment, Shado. I must alert my master that you are here." said Hadeous. Shado nodded his head. Hadeous had the two guards open the doors they were guarding. The doors were so big that it took a few heartbeats before they were opened. Hadeous entered and closed the doors behind him. Shado stood outside the doors as the two guards stared at him. Shado was a little annoyed by it and decided to stare right back at them. Eventually, the doors re-opened and Hadeous exited the room. Standing before Shado, he gestured for him to enter. Shado took cautious steps as he entered the room.

The doors slammed behind him. The room was huge, like a large empty warehouse with nothing in it but a throne. The entire room was pitch black except a single light that covered Zera's throne. Zera sat there, his hood covering most of his face, to where onlly his lips and chin were visible. His hands clutches the armchairs of his throne. Shado stared at Zera but said nothing. Zera finally broke the ice. "Shado Vorn. It is about time that we met, for today is the day that you will not only get the answers you seek, but it is also the day that your eyes shall be opened." "I can see just fine, Zera." Shado retorted.

"Oh? Well then, perhaps I can help you to see better than you can now." With that said, the lights in the room turned on. It revealed four assassins meant to guard Zera. Shado couldn't see them at all in the darkness. These guards of Zera's were draped in a black armor. They each had lightsaber staffs. They also wore helmets. "They were draped in stealth." Shado said, the understanding apparent in his voice. "Very good, Vorn. Very good." Zera said with a grin. Zera snapped his fingers, and the guards left the room without hesitation. "They are trained well to follow my orders. They are the best of the best, and I have ordered them to leave, with just me and you in the room now." Zera said. "That's nice. Look, I don't have time for this, so if you don't mind, can you get to the point of this meeting, please?" Shado interupted.

"Not very patient, are you? Don't answer. That can be a good thing sometimes, but it must be something that you work on controlling in the future. Anyhow, you didn't come here to listen to me babble. You want information of your past, but I can go two better than that. I can give you information of your past, your present, and an offer for your future ..." Zera said. "As for your offer, save it until I have my information. I want to judge whether or not your information is valid or not, and I assure you, I'm very good at judging when it comes to liars ..." Shado replied with a deadly gaze.

"Very well. Shado Vorn. We are agreed, then. First, ask me what you would like to know." Zera could feel Shado's gaze upon him. He realized it was no longer smart in taking up his time without making it useful to him. "What do you know of my past, and why do you know it in the first place?" Shado asked, his gaze still piercing ...

Brittany left the ship silently, making her way through the dense woods. Then, reacting on sudden instinct, she ignited both lightsabers and sliced through a tree nearby. The tree fell on an unsuspecting Sith trooper. His companion tried to run, but lost his head quickly.

Brittany hung her lightsabers from her belt and continued.

"You were less a bounty hunter, and more of a Republic lapdog." Zera returned Shado's gaze, with a small grin. "So now you insult me?" Shado said, his gaze not at all changed. "I didn't say a willing Republic lapdog. No ... that would have been an insult. Even as a bounty hunter, you did not know you were working for the Republic. They gave your Hutt employer information on people they wanted dead. Everyone that you killed, were either Sith spies, soldiers, or ship crewmen. The Republic never told you. The Hutt never told you." Zera's eyes grew wide, as if waiting to tell him more. "Okay, so why didn't they tell me?" asked Shado. "They had their killing machine, their killing machine had no knowledge that he worked for them, and, the people he killed were enemies of the Republic. If they sent one of their own, they would have never gotten the jobs done that you pulled off. You are gifted." Zera grinned. "Okay, the Republic used me. I get it. So what else happened?" Shado asked, his gaze lightening up a bit. "Marli. Sister of Brittany." Zera paused for a moment, holding in a silent laugh. "Marli loved you deeply. Brittany did not, and never will."

"Brittany had a sister? I knew her sister?" He asked. "Oh you knew her alright." The dark lord chuckled. "She was going to marry you!" Shado's expression was full of curiousity, and also fear. Fear for what he may be told next. "So what stopped her .. and where is she now?" he asked. "She's dead. You killed her." Zera said coldly. "It isn't your fault though, you had no idea." Shado didn't know what to say. He stood in silence. He folded his arms and awaited further information from Zera. "While you were a bounty hunter, you fell in love with one of your targets. Marli. Marli was deeply in love with you, but she was a spy for me. For the Sith. Eventually, things got complicated. You were close to finding out who she really was. I had to intervene. I spoke to your Hutt employer. I convinced him to work for the Sith instead of the Republic. It wasn't hard to do. I recieved information of you, and your work with the Republic. You were a threat to me, and I tried to have you killed because of it. I ordered the Hutt to put a bounty on your head, with quite a large sum of credits." As Zera spoke, the sound of regret almost appeared in his voice.

"You tried to have me killed?" his eyebrow raised as he asked. "I did. You were a threat to me and the Sith. You were the best known bounty hunter in the galaxy. I couldn't allow you to live at the time, but fate intervened. You eventually found the truth about Marli. You were going to discuss it with her ... when you came to your hideout, only to find Brittany, Marli's twin sister." Zera's face was expressionless now. His eyes told it all though ... he wasn't lying, and Shado could sense it. "Before I go any further with this, I want to give you my offer now. You don't have to respond to it right away, but consider it, at least." Shado nodded his head at Zera's request. "Good. I have so much more to tell you, but I don't know how much time I have left before your so called "friends" arrive at the base. And before you ask, yes, they are on this planet, trying to get here at this very moment." Zera said. Shado just stared. On the outside, Shado was like a stone statue. He made no movements, and no expressions of his feelings. He was silent. On the inside, he had many thoughts and emotions running through his mind.

"I offer you true power, Shado Vorn. Join the dark side. Join the Sith! Join me. Become my apprentice, learn the ways of the Sith, and you will have ultimate power, that will not be held back. You will be praised by all, all shall fear your power, and you'll get more than a pat on the back for a job well done." Zera said. "You already have an apprentice. I'm sure he wouldn't feel very happy if I took his job." Replied Shado. "That is not up to him. Anyway, you have heard my offer. Consider it." Zera said. "Fair enough. I want the rest of the story now." said Shado. "Very well. Marli was captured by the Jedi Order about a week before you tried to meet with her to find out the truth. Brittany, her twin, was alerted of this. The Order questioned her. They didn't get very much from her, as the Sith are not weak like they are. Brittany was given a mission by the order. To pretend to be Marli. She would take her place and further the lie that you were living. Things got complicated. Marli did in fact love you, where as Brittany, loathed you. Brittany is a very head strong person. She found out about my hiring of your Hutt employer. She didn't know about your bounty, though. She figured that I would use you as the Republic did. She figured your new targets would be Republic members, and Jedi alike. She decided that she had to kill you to prevent that. Her mistake."

Shado was going to say something, but couldn't find the words. Zera continued on. "When you met with her at your hideout, she had a blaster ready. She grabbed it and was going to shoot, but you were just too fast for her. She fell. You thought her dead. You were wrong. You left the hideout and the planet, to gather your thoughts. Brittany had fellow Jedi waiting for her on the planet, with a ship ready. They were supposed to capture you and bring you to the Jedi Order. They failed. Brittany was lucky enough to call the Jedi to her rescue. They patched her up. She lived. The rest will be told by her and your friend Rick. I'll be interested to hear their lies to you." Zera said, his teeth exposed with the evil grin that came across his face.

Shado paced back and forth in the room, as he waited for Brittany and Rick to arrive. He wouldn't have much longer to wait, because they were almost there!

Lord Zera sensed the presence of Rick and Brittany as soon as they had arrived. "Ah, I believe your friends have finally arrived, Shado." he said almost quietly. He watched as Shado continued to pace back and forth. "Is everything alright, Shado?" he asked.

Shado ceased his pacing and turned to face Zera. "I guess I'll find that out in a few moments, won't I?" he said with a small hint of sarcasm in his voice. Before Zera could say anything to Shado, the doors to his throne room slowly swung open. Rick and Brittany entered the room, escorted by the two Dark Jedi.

"Your guests have arrived, my lord." said one Jedi. "Excellent." said Zera. Shado turned to Rick and Brittany. They stood directly across from him. The feeling between the three of them was like strangers looking at strangers. Shado folded his arms and stood perfectly still. His face was cold, like nothing Rick or Brittany had ever seen in him.

"I'm ready to hear what you two have to say about my past." Shado said in a cold and quiet tone. Zera intervened momentarilly. "I've told him the truth about you, Brittany. The truth which you denied him, even before he lost his memory. Why don't you explain to him why you lied to him, and why you never told him that you were the one who attempted to kill him, not Marli. You ruined his life, and you ruined your twin sister's life as well. Explain why." Zera said coldly. "And Rick, why don't you try explaining to Shado why you killed his master, and then attacked him from behind, while he was holding his dead master in his arms? I'll save the best for last, something that only I can explain myself : Shado's memory loss. But I am sure that Shado would really like to hear your sides of the story ..."

Brittany was speechless. What had the Sith been telling Shado?!? Certainly not the truth. She hadn't tried to kill him and she knew it well. It had been Marli.

"Shado, don't listen to him," Brittany whispered, her face showing that she felt hurt by his coldness. "It was Marli who tried to kill you. She managed to survive, although none of my family or I knew how. She trained to become a Sith and overpowered her master as you watched on Korriban. Then she turned on you and tried to kill you again.

"Rick and I got there as she was just about to kill you and prevented it. She came to attack me and I fought my best. She was knocked over and I tried to kill her, but only got her leg. She pushed me back into the wall and I lost consciousness.

"Later you told me that the two of you had fought on a catwalk above the ocean. She lunged for you, in the process losing her lightsaber. She lunged for it, trying to save it from falling off the catwalk, but she went too far and barely managed to grab the edge of the catwalk before she fell. She called you a coward as you walked away. You told her that she was already dead. She had even said so. Then, she lost her grip and fell into the water, thousands of feet below."

Her gaze became hard. "Search my mind, Shado, and know I am telling the truth."

Shado stood silently, obviously gazing into her mind. Zera watched on in silence, as did Rick. Shado stood silent before her. His facial expression telling her one thing, but his eyes ... his eyes were always showing her the truth. "I looked into your mind, Brittany. It's a shame that you would lie to me to my face. Lucky for me, I don't really give a damn at this point." Shado said, his voice as cold as ice, as was his gaze upon her.

"Wha ... WHAT? I can't believe you..." before she could finish, Zera interupted. "Allow him to know the truth, Brittany. You have proven to him your true intent, you don't care about him, why hide it any further?" Zera's evil eyes turned to Rick this time. "And you, will you lie to Shado as well?" he asked. "Shutup, Zera. Let him speak. Are you going to lie to me too, Rick?" asked Shado. Rick froze for a moment. If Brittany couldn't convince him of the truth, could he?

Brittany could feel her eyes filling with tears. She refused to believe that Shado would just fall to the dark side like this. What she had said to Shado, was in fact the truth. How he could not see it in her mind was beyond her comprehension. Maybe he didn't want to see the truth .. or maybe ... a sudden understanding of what was going on occured in Brittany's head. A feeling of relief seemed to come over her.

Rick, on the other hand, was sweating blaster bolts. Shado's dark gaze stayed focussed souly upon Rick. Shado waited for Rick to respond.

(OOC) - Good one, Rick. :)

Shado shook his head slightly, as if dissapointed by Rick's truthful response. His dark gaze returned to Rick. "It doesn't add up. If the Sith killed my master, then why did I have a vision given by the Force, showing you knocking me out from behind, while holding my master in my arms?"

Rick didn't know what to say at that point, because the "vision" that Shado had seen, never happened, or at least Rick knew it wasn't him who did the act to Shado. "I ... I don't know! I didn't do that to you, Shado! You MUST believe me!" he said, the sincerity apparent in his voice.

"I'll tell you exactly why you don't know." Shado said with a sparkle in his eyes. Before he spoke further, he palmed the lightsaber hilt attatched to his belt. "Because it never happened." With that said, Shado pulled his lightsaber from his belt. As he activated it, a quick snap hiss emerged from the blade. He turned to Zera and spoke. "You're a bad liar, Zera, and a pathetic man." Zera lept to his feet, looking at Shado accusingly. "What are you talking about, Shado? Have you gone MAD?" he shouted.

"You Sith and your pathetic mind control devices ... what a joke." Shado brought his lightsaber to his front. He stood in a battle ready position. "I never lost my memory, Zera. You, like all others before you, have underestimated me. I only needed save passage into your base, and now, with my true friends, I will kill you." With that said, Shado lunged at Zera and prepared to attack.

Brittany and Rick stood briefly in shock. Then, it finally hit them. Shado needed them to believe that he truly lost his memory. If he didn't, the three of them wouldn't be standing in the belly of the beast, with the advantage of surprise on their side. The dark Jedi who had escorted them into the room, had now activated their lightsabers. Brittany and Rick were without theirs, as they had been comfiscated by the Sith, before being allowed entrance into the throne room. This could prove troublesome, to say the least ...

  • 2 weeks later...

More Sith had indeed began flooding the room a short moment later. Brittany and Rick both activated their lightsabers, and began to battle the Sith. Shado and Zera were now engaged in a battle of lightsabers and Force powers. Shado used the Force to try and push Zera to the ground, but Zera was powerful in the Dark Side of the Force, which made it possible for him to resist the attack. Shado then used the Force to boost his speed. He swung his lightsaber, clashing it with Zera's. A spectacular display of sparks came from the clashing lightsabers. Zera used the Force to strike at Shado with lightning. Shado succumed to its effects and fell to his knees in pain. Zera laughed and swung with his lightsaber to behead his opponent, while he still used his Force lightning powers to keep Shado on his knees. Shado fought the pain and blocked Zera's crimson blade with his own. Infuriated, Zera kicked Shado, knocking him down onto his back. Zera lunged forward, raising his lightsaber in the air, he stabbed down at Shado, but wasn't fast enough to kill the Jedi. Shado quickly rolled out of the way, then leapt to his feet. He roared a battle cry, and with uncanny strength, sliced the unexpecting Zera's midsection in two.

Brittany felt much more comfortable with two lightsabers and instantly made herself useful. She fought off the Sith while Rick attended Shado. When the two of them looked up, she was right at the center of a large mob of angry Sith, somehow managing to keep them off.

"A little help, guys?" she yelled. She jumped away from the Sith, but her luck had run out. As she jumped, a lightsaber pierced her leg. She cried out in pain and tumbled to the floor near Shado and Rick.

"It's all you," she whispered as she lost consciousness. She had hit her head on the ground as well.

The distinctive snap-hiss of an igniting lightsaber was the only warning Shado had, and he only barely managed to get his own blade up in time. Suddenly, one of Zera's guards had appeared at Shado's side. The other three were nowhere to be seen, but with the stealthing capabilities the guards had, that could prove to be worrisome.

Shado blocked a quick succesion of attacks from the guard, and managed to use the Force to pull his opponent's feet out from under him. A moment later, Shado took the guard out, and looked up to see Rick fending the mass of lower-ranking Sith off of Brittany. That was when he spotted a more dangerous opponent.

Lord Hadeous strode smoothly around the pile-up Rick was causing with the others, a predatory smile upon his face. Suddenly, he extended his hand towards Shado and the floor below Shado exploded. Shado had managed to back-flip away from the explosion, having been able to sense the mounting energies.

Suddenly, one of Zera's guards uncloaked himself right behind Rick. A stab with the lightsaber, and Rick's lightsaber fell to the floor, numbed fingers unable to hold anything. Hadeous smiled, a wicked, evil grin.

"Give up," he said to Shado, having no need to yell to make himself heard. "Or your friends..." he trailed off, and indicated Brittany and Rick lying on the floor, each with a Sith standing above them. A wall of lower Sith suddenly placed itself in between Shado and his friends...

Despite the burning desire to continue fighting on, Shado knew that if he didn't give up, it was a lose/lose situation. He placed his lightsaber down onto the floor, admitting victory to Hadeous and the Sith, in order to save his friends. Now all that was left, next to the silence that had filled the room, was the wonder of what would happen next.

Hadeous smiled when Shado submitted.

"Excellent." he said, smiling broadly. "I am very glad to see you can be reasonable." He pulled Shado's lightsaber to his waiting hand via the Force.

Snapping his fingers, the other two Jedi were taken away. Noting Shado's sudden stiffening, Hadeous spoke.

"They are being taken to where the doctors may help them." he said. "It would be a shame to let such useful hostages go to waste." He snapped his fingers and a Sith set binders upon Shado's wrists. "A silly precaution," said Hadeous, "But a precaution nonetheless. I intend to take no chances with you, Shado." He waved, and two of the more powerful Sith on hand stepped behind and in front of Shado. "I think you will not find your new accomodations nearly so nice as your previous ones," commented the new Lord of the Sith. "You should have joined us, Shado." With another wave, he dismissed Shado, and his escorts took him away. Several other Sith kept with Shado and his two escorts, but stayed at a distance.

Hadeous sighed and moved to the Throne of the Sith. He had several choices, all of them intriguing. He could kill Shado, and see about turning his friends to the Dark Side. Or he could just kill all three, perhaps. He could attempt to turn Shado, but that would take a signifigant amount of time and effort just to produce someone who might become a rival for the Throne of the Sith.

He activated his commlink. "How will the girl and the other Jedi fare?" he asked. The voice on the other end replied in confident tones: "They will survive."

"Excellent," said Hadeous. "Use this time to start the drugs." He sighed. His manner of turning these Jedi would be different from that of his deceased Master. For a moment, he worried. Being the Master was not easy. There were too many pressing choices to be made, in too little time.

He looked up at the guards. "Kill Vorn." he instructed them. He had reached a decision.

We will wait for a while. We have lost too much power on this single venture. We are Sith. We are measured, cold. We are above all, practical. We must regain our strength. I must teach a new Apprentice. His thoughts ran quickly, as he realized the best thing for now was to be patient and see how things played out.

* * *

Shado Vorn looked around as his escorts stopped suddenly. Those Sith that had been shadowing them were closing in, somewhat. Both his close-in escorts took a step away from him, and pulled their lightsabers.

This was not good. Not good at all...

Shado was startled, but not really shocked of the betrayal. Right now, his only friend was the Force, and he would have to use it, if he wanted to live. Shado used the Force to push one of the Sith's arms up to his face, causing him to stab one of his eyes with the hilt of the saber. The other Jedi took a split second to look at his partner. A split second was all that Shado needed. He used the Force to pull the lightsaber hilt from the hurt Jedi, activated it, and ran the other Jedi through with it, killing him. He then pulled the saber from the now dying Jedi, and decapitated the other Jedi with it.

He was giving into his rage, and he knew it. Moments after Shado had killed the two Sith, more troopers and guards began showing up, like a small army. Shado was forced to carry on the battle, being pushed back further and further into the halls as he fought. The small army was soon becoming overwhelming for Shado. He was so angry at Hadeous, at Zera, and all the Sith for the hell that they had been putting him through, that something snapped within him as he fought.

The small fire that was within him was becoming too large, and he was now too angry to be held back. He roared his way into battle, slaughtering Sith after Sith, but still, more would come. He wouldn't give up though, his rage had consumed him and turned him into a killing machine with no fear. Only anger, only hatred for the Sith, and the desire to kill them all. Shado had taken a step closer to the dark side.

Suddenly, Shado's crowd of enemies jumped back a pace. Lord Hadeous stepped forward.

"Shado," he said simply, "I see you've discovered the power of rage." he indicated the chopped bodies to either side of Shado.

"Did their deaths satisfy you, Shado? Did you revel in their loss? Did you feel only mounting anger?" he smiled, as Shado breathed suddenly and quickly. The Jedi was obviously not tired out completely, and he could always call upon the Force for more strength, but he was obviously tired some both physically and mentally.

"Remember your friends in the medical bay," reminded Hadeous. "I'd hate to have to kill them." Hadeous looke up suddenly. Only now did Shado realize that they were standing in a rare courtyard. Suddenly, a series of blaster bolts flew down, barely missing the dodging Hadeous, and moving down amongst the crowded Sith, several of whom managed to deflect the bolts.

Hadeous rolled to the side, and left through a pair of doors as the hail of deadly fire continued. Shado watched as the Sith concentrated on blocking the shots. Suddenly, the source of the fire was apparent: Brittany and Rick's shp came to a drunken stop mid-air, directly above Shado, and the landing ramp extended. A loudspeaker turned on.

"Master Shado," came T3's voice, "Would you care to get on?"

"Teethree!" Shado shouted with a smile. Shado ran up the ramp, deflecting some blaster bolts on his way into the ship. The docking ramp closed quickly behind him. "It's good to see you, Teethree, and you too, Hero!" he said while at the same time catching his breath. "It's good to see you too, Master Shado!" said an enthusiastic T3. Hero cooed happily towards his friend.

Shado, shortly after sitting down, leapt back to his feet, facing Teethree. "I have to go back down, Teethree. Keep firing at the Sith for as long as you can." Teethree was about to speak up, but stopped short, noticing that Rick and Brittany were not with him. "Very well, Master Shado, but do be careful down there, okay?" said Teethree.

"I'll do my best, Teethree." Shado replied as the docking ramp opened back up. Shado took a deep breath and ran back down the ramp, once again deflecting some blaster bolts. Hero hopped along after Shado, without Shado or T3 taking notice. T3 closed the ramp once more.

Shado took cover, and attacked and killed the remaining Sith that were along the courtyard. It was no small feat either, but with T3 distracting most of them, it made it a bit easier for Shado, who was now exhausted. He had to go on though. He would not leave until he had found Brittany and Rick, and returned them to his ship safely.

Shado was in for a surprise though, because there were still plenty of Sith waiting for him, all with the order to kill him. He had to find Brittany and Rick, and do his best to avoid the Sith while he could.
