My brother is working on a MP map, in the map there is a lava pit, if you hit the lava we want the player to vaporize like when you get hit by a sniper rifle on full charge or if you touch the big rotating cylinder in the Cairn base (i think, maybe doomgiver) in Jedi Outcast SP. I would imagine you would use "trigger_hurt" but we're not sure what the value should be.
Lil Killa Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Never heard of or seen a trigger hurt that "vaporized" the player. Although if you give the trigger_hurt and key: dmg and a value: -1 the player will do a screaming death the instant he hits it.

GothiX Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 I remember func_rotatings and func_pendulums having a checkbox for it... But that's only in SP. Maybe it's possible for MP in JA? Oh, btw, in JA, when you fall into the lava, you get a nice splash effect anyway..
